Assassin's Creed

I was wondering if I should even attempt to run Assassin's Creed 3. My specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon x2 @2.7ghz CPU
4GB DDR2 Dual Channel Memory
GeForce 9800GT 512MB GDDR3 Video Card
450W PSU
Windows 7

I see that it say's 3GHz Dual Core for minimum specs I believe? So wondering if I would be wasting my time.
