Assassin's Creed Live Action Trailer

Sup all,
Last week I posted an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune trailer my buddy and I did. We were tired of seeing bad video game trailers, and we got some cool feedback on it. We had to use footage that was already released, but with the limited resources we had, it turned out pretty well.

We LOVE Assasin's Creed, so we wanted to do something a little less "movie-esque" and actually have live action. We had tons of cool ideas, but limited resources, but we went with it and I think we turned out something pretty cool.

We plan to do Army of Two and MGS4 soon as well as some comedic 2d game ones. I'll post those when they come.

#1) As cool as DivX is, try using a format thats a bit more universally accepted, like Flash.
#2) What the hell does this even have to do with Assassin's Creed?
#3) How do you love Assassin's Creed when its not out yet (and you cant even spell it properly in your post?)
#4) Being a guy with 2 posts here may make this look a bit like spam, but at least you're on topic

2) We were trying to do somethign different. The idea was that its modern day and the Assassin's are still out there.

3) We love Assassin's Creed the concept, and I can't spell in general.

Personally the DivX format is far superior for portraying quality video than most of the crap that spews from there. Being a fellow techy I'm actually quite shocked you pointed that out.

I can speak for these guys, friends from back in the day. I told them to post over here to get some opinions on the videos they put out.

You can remove #4 from my list. #5 was a joke... #1 was a friendly suggestion (even though yes, DivX is better than flash). #3 you've explained... that just leaves #2... which I sort of understand, but when I see a trailer for a game, I expect some sort of game footage... I was honestly hoping to see some sort of machinima trailer instead.

I probably miss labeled the post. We weren't going so much for a trailer as much as a viral video type of thing. I don't want to give too much away about the game, but our IDEA was that the Assassin's Guild is still around in modern day. When the game comes out, see what you think.

No worries, I would have prob posted the same thing seeing someone with a post count of two!

I think the idea of real life depictions for game trailers is a good idea. I would be interested to see what other ideas they come up with...
