I'd wager there's a 90% chance this movie will be awful. It's a cool concept but films based on video games are never good.

Well, Fassbender's definitely a good actor. This could be enjoyable. Of course, it could be a train wreck like video game movies tend to be (case in point: Hitman Agent 47). I don't care about the Assassin's Creed franchise, so I won't be losing sleep if it's bad.

Possibly a case of weak plot bolstered by decent actors? Plus, they need to get three movies out of this idea, otherwise the script writers will have to do some work!
