How have I heard nothing about this game at all? I loved AC2, this one looks like it's deviating from the tried and true formula a bit but hopefully it will still deliver.

I saw the E3 trailer. I was left feeling pretty meh about it. I didn't really see anything that blew me away, and I've really like the AC series (2 more than 1, like everyone else).
 
AC 2 is one of my favorite games but this didn't wow me when I saw it. Apparently though it's supposed to be good based on what game critics have said. There's an mp component that is supposed to actually be good. It sounds pretty cool. I don't know how long the story is though.

I think it got some E3 awards or was nominated at least.
 
It's official--everyone loves this game. I dont have a copy yet but the folks I've talked to that do say it's possibily the best in the series.

Totally wasnt expecting this and now contempating ditching the NFS launch party tonight so I can play. 😛

Just check metacritic and follow the reviews from there. Stephen Totillo over at Kotaku and Eurogamer break it down pretty well.
 
Continues the AC2 storyline plus more enhancements and more of Leonardo's toys. Everyone has been raving about the multiplayer too.

If you liked AC2 you'll love AC:B
 
Can't wait to get my copy. Due here on thursday from Newegg. Only cost $47.99 on pre-order, but don't get it on release day. I guess that's part of the discount. 🙂
 
I beat the game over the weekend.

This game sort of facinates me, mainly because this game was so unsuspectingly good. I loved AC2, but the new elements like the assiassin recruitment/assistance thing, mid-mission checkpoint system, easier combat and multiplayer are so good.

The funny thing is, when it was over I was kinda sad. I put a lot of time into getting most of the flags, treasures, feathers, glyphs, romulus keys and whatever else is out there and I just got lost in the world. Cheesy, but true.

Deffinitely in my top 5 of the year.
 
Just hit up wikipedia and read up on AC1 and go directly into AC2. It's worht playing--almost requiredly so--before playing AssBro.
 
i just wanted to say that warcrow calling AC:B "AssBro" made me lol

also, AC1 is not required to play AC2. i never got AC1 but i totally loved AC2. and now i'm tempted to get AC:B.
 
All three Assassin's Creed games are fantastic.

Just beat AC: Brotherhood yesterday and it was an insanely fun game. I am going to try MP tonight.

I too love the fact that you can recruit people and make them assassins.

Also, I got a code for the Drachen's Armor however, after unlocking the Brutus Armor (Romulus Missions), even though it's equipped, it doesn't "show". Ezio still has the Drachen Armor on!

Is this a glitch? I even tried to equip the "regular" costume and even though it "equipped", it never shows! Only the Drachen Armor is visible on Ezio.
 
The unlock codes are 'skins' they hide your normal appearance. The armor is not a skin but actual armor.

Switch back to default and you should see your armor.

How do I switch back to default? I tried to equip the OEM costume but it doesn't show up; I can only see the Drachen Armor (red/black). ? Am I doing something wrong?

yea I just "removed" the Drachen Armor and got the Brutus Armor to show. It looks hideous IMO. I played for like 10 minutes with it and then went back to the Drachen Armor! hahahaha..
 
i played it a little on the ps3, i loved it. I walked around the cities so much and completed a lot of the extra stuff; I never got passed all of Jerusalem, I think I only unlocked the high class area.

How is it on the pc? Better control? Do you need a beefy pc (I have an X2 6000+ with an 8800gt, 4 gigs of ram and and LCD limited to 1280x1024, does that suffice? How about AC2) Can it be had cheap on steam (its 20 bucks now, does it ever get hit with a sale? I'd do it for 5 bucks lol as I feel like the game has little replay value)?
