I have Settlers 7 which uses the same DRM and it has never been a problem fro me.

I remember people complaining a bunch when it first came out. Maybe it's gotten better since. <shrug>

got it for PS3 anyway though. was a bit cheaper going that route.

So I ordered 3 games from gamestop. They had a buy 2 get one free on used games sale this weekend so I ordered AC2, Infamous, and Resonance of Fate. Wanted to get UFC 2010 but they didn't have any used copies in stock. 3 games for the price of 1 new one is always good.

Any ideas on when the US will get the Game of the Year edition that includes all the DLC? Its available out across the Pond (UK) but not over here yet. I have been holding off on getting this title until I can get a version that includes everything... I hate paying more for DLC 🙂

You can get it for $10 at Wal-Mart right now for the Xbox 360. Even after purchasing all the DLC, you'll come out cheaper than if you had purchased the GOTY. 😀

best I can find around me is 20 bucks or so.. hence my wait. Maybe I have expensive Wal Marts?

my games came today and AC 2 just skips all over the place. I can't even start the game without skipping. The disc looks fine, no scratches, etc.

This isn't a problem with the game and PS3 is there?

I haven't heard of a reported problem, and it'd be pretty well reported if this was the case.

really weird. it's a used game but the disc looks near flawless. I have to go near a gamestop store this weekend so i'll see about exchanging it for another copy.
