If you're on the fence for whatever reason, I can certainly recommend this game as it's still my favorite of all the Assassin Creed games. The first game felt a bit more like a tech demo with an awkward story attached to it. You could definitely see promise, but the game needed a bit more time in the oven. Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty much exactly what the first game should have been.

Those games all look alike to me and none of them appears to be something I would enjoy. BUT, if its free I should probably try it once.

Yep, pretty much in line with my thoughts. AC2 is probably the series high point; along with Brotherhood which is kind of an extension of it.

Watch some gameplay vids for both. As you have donned pirate garb yourself, black flag should be fun since you get to be one.

Odysessy does not use the tired old combat mechanics, and has added some new elements. It borrowed some elements of GTA and some of the other good sandboxes. Combat is much more fun and challenging. I like to get a bunch of Mercenaries after me a la 5 stars in GTA then try to beat them all. Even the higher ranked ones. It gets fast and furious, and you cannot sit there and do those cheesey counters anymore.

Thanks for the heads up, just added it. I'll probably never touch it though, but it's free so... why not.

Also I noticed that there's Rayman Legends for free. I don't launch my UPlay often, not sure if it was there for a long time but that's another one I never played so I'll definitely give it a try eventually.

Child of Light (a good platformer) is also free until (I believe) today on uPlay.
