weird that you would ever think this. He's been a huge fan of and friend to Trump. He's idolized by the GOP, because both entities fundamentally hate the United States.

Wikileaks once had a mission, many years ago, but it is far from what Assange is and what Assange dragged them into--which is essentially publicity for Assange and an information stream for Putin and the GRU. He's long been a pariah within his own organization.

I Love WIKILEAKS! This just came out...

Assange is the best argument against a free open internet... Fuckers like him is why we cant have nice things. This little nobody woke one day and thought, I need to get into geopolitics, cause that is how important I am and my hatred for certain political elements.. So he sold his platform out to russian operatives and targeted clinton in an american presidential election.
One dude.
With a massive ego.
And a butthurt, took it out on the world.
There is another dude i wouldnt piss on, fuck that guy.
Are you saying Asange could be a narcissist?

The easiest way to see that wikileaks’ claim that they are for transparency and exposing corruption is bullshit is simply to note that they have never published anything about the Russian government and have in fact attacked those who have despite the Russian government being one of the most corrupt entities on the planet.

Assange and wikileaks are the biggest hypocrits! They will publish anything but Assange requires his wikileaks workers so sign NDA's. He is using this whole Sweden investigation, he was never charged, to get more limelight than he ever should why else would he sure Equador, which merely wants him to behave like an adult and clean up after his cat?

Seriously you have to sign an NDA to work at wikileaks, this is hypocritical BS in its purest form!

Assange Claims Ecuador Seeking to End His Asylum

Would be nice if true. Assange is such a coward. When/if he leaves the embassy here's to hoping that no one gives a shit ... and lets him walk away, effectively ending his 6+ years of self-imposed prison sentence.

Assange is just a coward, afraid of his own shadow. It would be best if the world just forgot about him ...

Nuh-uhh. He jumped bail on the Brits. The only way he'll atone for that is to do a little time in one of their lockup facilities, maybe bunk with Tommy Robinson. He'll need a helluva plan to get out of the embassy, out of the UK & into a country that will grant him protection.

Julian? He be fukololo...

Actually, I'd like to see Assange extradicted and convicted in federal court, though I wonder whether or not Trump would pardon him. We saw Trump praising WikiLeaks in one moment, but key people in his administration have openly attacked it. I don't think it's just a matter of Assange waiting until the moment the trial is over. As it stands, if Trump is out in 2020 and an Assange trial isn't finished by then... well, Assange will be thankful if he ever sees the outside of a prison again.

Or Assange could cut a deal with the feds from a UK jail cell, rat out somebody like Roger Stone, deal with the Brits & emerge a free man in a few years, if that.

If he helps bring down Stone or other contributors to the Trump regime, it might be worthwhile.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's lawsuit over new asylum conditions has been thrown out by an Ecuadorean judge, who said the country was "not violating his fundamental rights."

Judge Karla Martinez said Monday that Assange would have to abide by the rules imposed by Ecuador's embassy in London.

Haha he has to clean his room, pick up his laundry and somehow live with limited internet.
Such cruel punishment, I’m sure all the US 12 year olds agree.

...

I thought the "clean up after his cat" thing was a joke, and then I clicked on the article. You'd think you would be a little more gracious given the circumstances...

Not a good comparison but I have to wonder if some guy moved into Trump Tower who had a terror of a pet cat, left a mess in his room, rode a skateboard in the halls and made going out in the courtyard a pain because you’d be hit by a soccer ball.
How long would Trump tolerate that?

That’s very unfortunate but if he really did start posting pics of the Ecuadorian presidents family etc he kind of sealed his own fate. The next few days will be very interesting.

May get to find out what behind those insurance packages of his after all.
