Lol, infact I've seen a patent granted for something similar to that, except it was for a self- powered ass kicking machine (i.e. you rotated some things and it resulted in a wheel like the one in the OP kicking your ass. I'm sure someone on ATOT can find it....

Yep, this device was patentd a long time ago. Personally my favorite patent covers canine scuba gear.
