Hello, Yesterday I built a New PC for my Nephew but the Motherboard is not recognizing the Video Card for some reason.

MB: ASRock Z97 Pro4
http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/z97 pro4/

Video Card: MSI R9-290
http://www.microcenter.com/product/429293/Radeon_R9_290_Gaming_4GB_PCIe_x_16_30_Video_Card

The 4-pin Molex is plugged into the Motherboard and as well the 1x8-pin & 1x6-pin are plugged into the Video card.

Any suggestions on why it's not being recognized would certainly be appreciated.

Every other piece of the New PC Build works fine:
Part List of Build in case you need to know:

MB - ASRock Z97 Pro4
CPU - i7-4790k
HS/F - Arctic Alpine 11-plus
RAM - Corsair 2x8GB
PSU - Corsair CX750M
SSD - Crucial CX100-512GB

Thanks for the reply.

Turns out the power connection of the Video Card wasn't plugged in all the way on the PSU. It's recognized fine now.

My Nephew was anxiously awaiting His new PC, felt I had let Him down, sorry I made this Thread a bit hastily.

Thanks again for the Reply.

Btw. I'm fairly impressed with with that Arctic Alpine 11-plus HS/F. It keeps that non-OC'd 4790k Temp. at 30c to 35c at Idle, and is very quiet, not bad for a $10 HS/F.
