Title says it all.
Anyone experienced this code ?

Aside from all the other old info on google (2-3years+ and old mobos) saying it has to do with the PC running in ACPI mode and/or that all hardware are fully detected and recognized ?

Is this info still valid and if so, what does it mean and is it normal ?

Regards

Hmmm, settings must be wrong somewhere. Are you getting anything on the screen?
What drives are you using? M.2? SATA Express? Need more info. Pics of your settings would help.
Does it look anything like this?

Certainly more info would help! :D

System
Windows 7 64bit Pro
I7-4790K
Z97 Extreme9 Bios P1.14
32Go G.Skill F3-2400C10Q32-GTX
MSI R9 280 3G
Main boot SSD Samsung 850Pro
Backup HDD 2 * 4To Seagate Raid1 on Intel Z97
(Therefore my 850Pro is a stand alone RAID)
Both the samsung and my Raid1 4To are GPT partition

I tried disabling the fast boot, no change (was able to boot but still with AA code)
I wasn't able to get the RAID : 850Pro to show as boot unless I changed AddOn Rom display to enabled, CSM settings we're all Legacy except Storage OProm set to UEFI Only (If I remember correctly). System didn't wanted to boot on Raid : 850 Pro directly, I guess this has to do with my UEFI insallation and GPT partition forcing me to use Windows Boot Manager as shown below.

Note: I had another Z97 Extreme9 bios rev P1.10 but 2 Dimm slots were dead, I had to RMA it and I received a replacement board with bios P1.14.
I was actually running 16Go single channel on my old board but since they don't do crosship or advance payment, I had to send my old semi-working mobo.

I was running fully stable without any error code on my old Z97 extreme9.
And now I'm still running stable with my replacement board but with AA code. 8hours + prime 95 small ftu, 4 memtest pass, booting in windows and running apps / games no problem.

Also note that I did not reinstalled windows nor repaired the installation when I got the new board... I simply plugged everything back and reconfigured the bios to what it was with the best of my knowledge and memory.

See BIOS settings below, don't hesitate to ask for more
Thanks!

Bios setting (Took the screen that seems the most important to me)

Is it possible the old board had the lsi controller disabled and the new board has it enabled ? I'm not sure what code AA indicates (it is not in the manual) but it seems that the A codes are related to sata devices.

Try changing "Boot Option #1" to AHCI for your Samsung, instead of Windows Boot Manager..

There's a walk through video for the Extreme4 with similar BIOS. You can pause it at any time you need, but have a look see anyway..
