im running 2600k @ 4.5 1.35v.any tips to lower vcore?i just followed basic oc steps.ram timings,vcore,vram,multi and disable power savers.TIA.

edit:i tried 1.3 w/ linx 5/5,im ok w/ this for now.

Ripjaws X with HR-02 Macho, the fan overhangs the closest dimm, but adjusts up enough to clear.

I asked the store where I bought the Ripjaws and where I would also buy the 212 EVO, they said it wont fit. My next choice is the Antec Kuhler 620.

Can I put my RAM on the DDR2_A2 and B2 slots instead of the A1 B1 so I wont have clearance problems with the HSF and Ripjaws?
 
It's DDR3 not DDR2 if we are talking about the same motherboard. If you read the manual they don't say anything about what's best, its either A1 B1 OR A2 B2.

When running only two sticks you use A2,B2 which is the standard with most modern MB's on the Intel side I believe.

If you put them in A A or B B it would not be dual channel.

Does bios 1.30 fix the hdmi issue in eufi?

Mine washes out (like move mouse and bios gets mouse trail that overwrites bios) does not happen in dvi or regular monitor hookup. but as I love my hdmi lol ...
 
Has anyone managed to get that Lucid Virtu program working with this board? I'd love to have my 2500k use it's graphics core when I'm just websurfing.

I only given it a slight go at it and trying to set it up made BF3 run as a slideshow so I uninstalled it since I really wanted to play 😉

i THINK its working fine on mine but im not really sure for difference between 9800gt and hd3000 is not that huge 😛


im not really sure but i think the part on this mobo the one w/ the Z68 text gold triangle moved when i was installing h100 last time,is that normal?and what is that for?D:
