ASRock X58 xtreme not posting!

so basically i just built a system with an ASRock X58 xtreme motherboard, i920, and radeon 5850, and 6gb of ram. everything is hooked up, i check over and over. so, when i power the system on the fans turn on and the graphics card just goes to full fan speed and nothing posts...i get no read out on the debug display, there are no beeps or anything and no output from the graphics card, the monitor isnt getting a signal. do i have a dead board? or should i check something first

might want to check the system panel where you hook up the pwer button hdd light etc... i had an issue with it... the manual has a shitty horrible diagram of the layout and the markings on the mb aren't any help either... what i did was take out all the system panel plugs and just left the pwer button in and everything worked fine...

i basically unplugged everything, then started all over, turned it on, and BAM, everything works fine, no errors or anything...so i dont know what was wrong but im thinking something wasnt plugged in all the way

basically thats how my experience went... my best guess is it was the system panel
