This don't look good for this board.
Since it hasn't been out that long, one has to wonder, what did they find that they need to EOL it?
Sounds like some kind of a hardware issue of some kind, otherwise, you wouldn't EOL a board that is so new?

According to a moderator on Asrock's forums,
I don't either. The X370 Gaming K4 is now EOL(End of Life) and as such BIOS support will begin to dwindle sooner rather than later I'm afraid.

Maybe a component-sourcing issue? Maybe they'll make another Rev.?

Or did they lose the licensing rights to the "Fata1ity" name...?

No idea.
Asrock needs to address this quickly IMO, rumors can kill the company pretty darn quick.

Doubtful on the Fata1ity name, because they use that on several other current boards (Intel Z270).

Maybe it was a design blunder or maybe sales were really bad compared to their other X370 Fata1ity boards (Gaming X and Professional Gaming)?

All I know for sure is there are a lot of people on the various forums are screaming murder. Asrock would be well served to release an official statement on why they are doing it.

He later states he's not an employee "yet" and seems to backtrack regarding future BIOS updates. I'm thinking he jumped the gun with his initial post and now Asrock has a mess to clean up.

Hopefully not, Fatal1ty models are pretty good and the K4 are the ones that have a sweet spot pricing.
But might be they have conflicting product pricing with the Killer and Extreme? too many at around the same price levels?

It doesn't automatically mean the end of BIOS support is near. It just means that ASRock won't be manufacturing or marketing it. Mainboards often get a year or more of on-going BIOS support after the model is discontinued.

Does this board share a BIOS with any other model?
