Apparently Asrock's Motherboard warranty does not offer cross ship replacement. I'm Surprised that they did not offer this at an extra charge or with a credit card to secure.

Asrock at that link above reports a 1 year warranty, but newegg reports a 3 year warranty. New Egg Specs

Is asrock warranty transferable to the second and more owners? How much Proof of Purchase is needed and does registration change anything?

The Z97 Extreme6 with Intel LAN, DP/HDMI, and M2 x4 looks sweet. Furthermore Asrock has great support of VT-d and VT-x unlike others.

I have recently had to RMA a z87 OC Formula bought in December(2014). For the RMA process I contacted ASRock and they sent me a link to sign up for an RMA. Then they required a receipt and Serial # of the MB. They were very helpful. They did require me to pay for return shipping. I didn't inquire about cross shipping.
ASRock Customer Service Team was very helpful, and very quick with responding to any questions and to the RMA itself.

AsRock's warranty is worthless.Know that when you buy an AsRock board,it basically has no warranty.
If you want warranty:Asus and MSI are the best. (for motherboards)
I would say Biostar or Supermicro is third...toss up there.

Update from Asrock. They do have a 3 year warranty but I have no idea where the statement is since online mentions 1 year.

Correct we don’t have any advanced replacements we could only do a cross shipment where you send your motherboard to us first, and once we receive pictures of the whole motherboard before you ship it out to us and you provide us the tracking number we can send out a replacement for you that same day as well. The model Z97 Extreme6 has a 3 years warranty with us as well.

Thank You!

Over the past couple of years I been building asrock base rigs for friends and myself besides pretty reliable, their RMA worked great on the only occasion I had a faulty mobo.
