ASRock SLI/Xfire switch card

Recently picked up an ASRock M3A785GXH/128M for cheap in hopes of running a triple card setup.

Unfortunately it is missing this card.

Does anyone know if it will still work without this?

Hi. I need some help.

I have another mobo (M3A790GXH/128M) which makes use of the ASRock SLI/XFire Switch Card. The problem is that I have taken out this card for silly reasons and I might have lost it (I cannot find it at the moment). All these years I have used the onboard gpu but now I decided to buy a new GPU. Will a new GPU work without this card (ASRock SLI/XFire Switch Card)? I am not planning for crossfire.
