Hey guys

Ok, well i was running my computer before and it was working fine with the Antec NeoHE430 and the ASrock Dual SATA2 mobo.

Then i replaced it with a seasonic SS400 PSU and i decided that was too nosiy and i wanted to go back to the NeoHE PSU.

But when i was gonna boot it, nothing happen. it didnt post at all and i didnt get any screen. The fans didnt even spin.

I put back the seasonic and it all works.

I tried the Antec NEoHE on my other 2 computers and they work fine.

Can anyone give me a reason to why the antec PSU just stopped working?

I tired it for like 2 hours even mixing and matching parts.

the rest of my specs are

Opteron 165 not OC
ASrock Dual SATA2
2 gig corsair value
2x 300gig seagate
sapphire 9600np (i know a new vid card is coming)
Augigy 2 ZS

TIA

So it just doesn't work? is the power switch swichted to on? jk, but check anyways. Sure every connection is secure? I had a problem booting, but it was the hard drive and switching out psu's didn't make a difference... hmmmm Yeah just make sure all the connectors are in, but what you describe is rather odd... all i can think of. Of course i'm not the geratest really technical guy, sig is only my first build. Good luck though. I'm rambling now...

Just a thought since I also have this POS, I mean board. When I try to run my Ram at stock(DDR400), it won't run, and doesn't boot (No, I'm not overclocking anything). Anyways, it doesn't POST or boot, but after a few resets(5-ish), it will go to the Boot Guard Failure that POSTs asking if you want to set everything back to default. Have you gotten there before? If not, then this won't help.

no i havent gotten the boot guard screen

i will try that setting everything back to default.

I know i have all the connections tight, and i know the PSUworks cause it works in both my other computer. and i know the mobo works because i am using it right now with another PSU just fine. boots up everytime.

And the weird thing is it used to work.

i dunno if it is the PSU tha suck or the mobo, both have bad things i have read
