Built a dual Xeon E5-2695v3 on an asrock rack ep2c612 ws motherboard, and it does not attempt to power on.
All components are known to be working, except the motherboard and the SK hynix 4GB ECC DDR4-2133 modules, just trying to use onboard VGA for now, so no expansion cards.
I've removed all components except the CPUs/coolers/fans, including the RAM, SATA, and USB keyboard/mouse and VGA cable. I've reset the CMOS, and installed a fresh battery. I've shorted the power pins.
The STANDBY POWER OK and the BMC HEARTBEAT leds light green, and there are no amber leds lit.
The Corsair AX1200 PSU has ample ability to power the board.
Regardless, the board will not attempt to power on.
Anyone have a similar experience that you solved? Any other general ideas I may have missed?
