what are the pros and cons of an ASROCK motherboard in general?

i hear a lot of bad things about it.

but its cheap and i am on a VERY low budget.

does anyone know how good or bad ASROCK motherboards are?

they support AMD xp's and p4's
 
I just built a system on the cheap with a K7S8X and XP 2100+ from Newegg. So far it has been very stable. The BIOS only has basic settings(by today's standards) and the build quality isn't 1st class. On the whole though I would recommend it as a cheap basic board.
