Asrock Dual-Vsta on board sound problem

Hi, im new hear and as my gift to you guys is this question...

I just finished building my computer, and my motherboard is Asrock 775Dual-Vsta, I installed the drivers, which was sorta annoying but the device manager shows everything in running, BUT when i go to control panel > sound etc... it shows that I have no audio source, I plugged my speaker in lime wire to lime input obviously and connct the power, but nothing.

Do I have to enable on board sound in the Bios, because I cant find no such option. Any help?

Thanks in advance.

The green (lime) connector is for your speakers, not your sound source. An audio source would be a CD/DVD ROM player, a microphone, an external device, such as an external player or a MIDI source.

Check your manual for BIOS settings. It should be listed if the setting exists.

Hope that helps. 🙂
