Ver 1.70. Adds support for AM2. I found it to be totaly unstable, others have said it fixes the 1T problem.

Edit: Looks like a few more people are reporting the end of 1T issues. Makes me wonder why my system was so flakey running 1.7

anyone have opinions on the new BIOS? My ASRock 939dual gets here tonight, should I bother with flashing the new BIOS on it?

I assume it still has the 274 lock? Why OCW can't make an updated BIOS without the 274 lock? :(

I assume it still has the 274 lock, yes. Hell, I can't even seem to get over about 263-265 :p

I've seen people claiming that setting CPU-NB Link Speed to 200MHz overcomes the "274 Lock" for the most part, but in the limited testing I've done, I haven't had any success in getting that to work. Maybe I'll have to try again now that I have a few days of free time...

Oh, and FWIW I did just notice over on the OCW forums that there is a new OCW Beta BIOS, but no one seems to be able to identify any meaningful changes or advantages over the official BIOS...like the 274 lock removal...

I had not read this before. I'll have to give it a try this weekend. Are you aware of any issues this changes can cause?

Here's a thread discussing the findings. Basically, they concluded that it has negligible effects on performance. I'm going to try that again later today or tomorrow and see what I come up with.
