since a few days my pc requires me to start windows and then do a restart to work normally
if I just start it its slow as hell asif it needs to warm up :disgust:
if i start like firefox i can literally see the screen build up then if I restart it works flawlessy
this is with a athlon 64 3000+ radeon 9500
 
There are a lot of 'fixes' for this problem that work for some, but not for others. Check out the two HUEG ASsRock threads in the motherboard forum. It is suppose to have something to do with the POST going by TOO fast so that it doesn't have time to detect the SATA drive(s). If you are NOT running RAID, you can try to enable RAID mode in SATA to give it an extra 10-20 seconds before POSTing I think. Ya, it might take longer, but you won't wear out the reset button?
