ASRock Dual Sata 939

I'm having some issues with my IDE devices after trying to install a new DVD drive. I'm able to boot up with my SATA drive, but none of my IDE devices (two DVD drives and a hard drive) are working. Even with the power connected, they don't turn on. If I unplug the IDE cable, and leave the power in, they power up and start to spin.

Everything else seems to working fine. Any recommendations? or is the board messed up?

Have you checked the MASTER / SLAVE configuration?

I've tried doing cable select, and also setting the jumpers to master/slave, but still no effect. Even tried each device individually and the same results. It powers up with only when the IDE cable is unplugged from the mobo.
