After two years of faithful service, pc locked up last night and would not respond to keyboard or mouse. After a hard shut down, today it won't even post. I've checked all the connections, swapped around power connections to the HDD, put in a back up HDD, etc and can't get the friendly post beep.
My guess is dead mobo or faulty psu (Antec 400W Smart Power) but I'm not sure how/what to check next. I'm suspecting mobo just because of the way it froze up, and b/c all other pieces power up now - fans, HDD, optical drive.
Any advice, even a '98% guess', is appreciated.
