Is it possible to run this board without the southbridge heatsink installed?

Can it be removed without dismantling the entire rig to get to the bottom side of the motherboard?

Good airflow now and can add another fan.

There is a usb tv tuner available as an alternative, but I thought I bought a board with three pci express slots, and I'd like to utilize them to upgrade the board with the following cards:

Creative Labs SB0886 PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card

Saphire HD 5450 512MB DDR2 PCIE HDMI

ATI TV Wonder HD 650 Combo PC TV Tuner
