My newest build, I threw in a Sapphire RX 460 4GB Nitro card.

Well, when it booted up, I was greeted, not with the usual "ASRock" logo, but a really souped-up logo, that said "ASRock | Sapphire", with trails of light.

Do ASRock and Sapphire have the same parent company?

It's a pretty neat little easter egg. I wish AMD would do more of this co-marketing stuff.

I'm purposefully NOT including a picture, because I'm going to encourage you to go out and try this yourself.

Some info on the partnership:

Apparently there is also a ASRock-Sapphire boost feature:

(Couldn't find any info on what that does though)

Thanks for the background info, cbn, I didn't think to check for a 'Sapphire Boost' feature in BIOS. I wonder if it's similar to what certain NV chipset-based boards would do, when an NV GPU was present. (The board would OC the PCI-E bus to 125Mhz.)
