Anyone got any experience with this board? I could do with something to drop my 965 BE into.

My 2nd hand AM2+ board is having some serious troubles, especially after a Windows 10 upgrade, and I'm fed up of my crappy mismatched DDR2 modules which only run stable at DDR2-667... Might be worth dropping in a new board and DDR3, just to get the system stable again (and maybe a bit faster). I should really just replace the whole system, but I have a wedding to pay for and can't really justify it. Maybe in another year's time I'll drop in an 8350 or something.

EDIT: Looking for something mATX, as my case is missing the standoffs for a full ATX. :(

Hmm, the CPU list states that you should always use a downblowing cooler. Sounds like it has problems with VRM overheating. Putting a 140W CPU in it might be a bad idea... Perhaps I should just bite the bullet and buy a Skylake i3.

the only AM3+ mATX boards are the 760 chipset ones.

they max out at 125 watts.

EDIT: Asrock 970m Pro3 looks ok, but people are complaining about build quality and placement of items. No onboard video either.
