ASRock 939 Dual board and PCI Express

I've been using this board for awhile now. My 9800 pro AGP card died the other day and I just replaced it with an X1900 card, PCI express.
I put the new card in and tried to boot up, I'm getting power, all fans are coming on, I have a plug into the new video card but no video at all. no beeps when booting up either.
I figured I'd have to throw a dipswtich or something to tell it to use PCI express but I can't see anything on it in the manual. I tried clearing the CMOS as well. Still nothing.
Am I missing something really stupid here?
thanks.

Check for a power supply connection going to the video card. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the card loose without the hold down screw.
