Hej All

Just bought a 8800GTS for my asrock 775DUAL-vsta. The problem is that I cannot make it run. Some claim it wont work, some claim it will.

I am experiencing that it shows a few secs of windows and then shows a black screen. The boot continues so its definitly the mobo.

I have tried with another PCI expres, an 7300 LE, which does the same thing. I am hoping its some kind of windows driver thing?

I have tried safeboot and VGA mode, same issue.

Anyone have any ideas or should I look for a new motherboard?

Definitely will not work with XP, but reportedly works with VISTA.

Though the fact that a GF 7100LE isn't working either indicates something else may be wrong.
