asrock 775 dual vsta no keyboard

Hi all I had a power switch short problem before this? but now when i try to boot up too enter setup i have no usb or ps2 keyboard, there are no keyboard light flashes i have video and it boots up to the BOOTMGR missing Ctrl alt del to restart, i tried removing the battery, i resetted the bios

Not a good sign. Good idea is to remove everything not essential for a boot, and then try again.
