Iam soon bald as much hair as i pulled from my head, this problem is so annoying that i want to throw out the computer from the window!

Well I have ASROCK 775 Dual VSTA motherboard with the newest available BIOS version P3.0.

Recently bought a Sapphire 3850 Graphic Card.

I get severe graphical issues in newer games like Stalker and Crysis, but strangely i get no problems in Cod4.

Well i googled for some hours read in forums for some hours until i suddenly found something that i thought could be to some help. I read that people with same mb and gc had same problems and that they had to disable PCIE DOWNSTREAM PIPELINE in BIOS. That helped them with the texture corruption problems.

The strange thing is that i Dont have that option at all in my BIOS, i dont have any PciE options at all in my bios. Under Advanced Host Configuration i only have this options
Pipeline DRQCTL [Enabled]
GTL Control [Auto]
3V66 group delay [Auto]

Nothing else.

Other people with this mb and same bios have lots of other options here.

I noticed that in the bios it said American Megatrends Version 2.58, could that be it? That i have an old Bios program?

But i have the newest Bios 3.0 but the Bios program is maybe to old?

Or could it have to do with that i had an AGP card before i switched to the PCI-E card? maybe i must take out the card and install it again for the options to appear?

Please someone help, iam getting a brain meltdown if i cant fix this :\

Update: 071231

I figured it out, in BIOS i had a setting called Main graphic card, and PCI Downstream pipeline. I Changed "Main graphic card to: PCI-E gfx", and "PCI Downstream pipleline to: Disabled"- Why i didnt find this earlier was because i forgot to scroll down, hmm.

Now i can play both Stalker, Oblivions and Crysis without any graphical issues what so ever

The problem is tho that iam not using the graphic cards full potential now by changing this settings.

Well, it works now, but i still have heating issues with Sapphire 3850, it goes up to 80 celcius when playing new games. Idle its now 60 celcius, to high imo.

The option does nothing to the performance. I had to set this to disabled too when I installed 8800GTS card on 775Vsta board. 3Dmark06 scores didn't change a bit and there was no degradation in gaming performance either.
