ASRock 4Core1600P35-WiFi+

ALC890 audio, Firewire, Wi-Fi (Linux-compatible too), DDR2/3 slots, solid caps, Yorkfield support (the hopelessly inadequate Northbridge will need active cooling). Unlike previous ASRock boards, which were primarily good only for extending the life of old PC components, they've finally added voltage controls and more serious OC support.

Other than the recycled junkyard slab of aluminum masquerading as a Northbridge (probably designed by Nvidia engineers), this looks like a good contender for the budget OC market. Anyone know of any OC results for this board?

Well, since no one answered, I did some further research on this board. Feature-wise, it beats boards like the Gigabyte P35-DS3R, and other boards around the same price, so it's not really overpriced. ALC890 on board audio is better than the 888 or 889a audio most premium boards are offering, and it has marginal Crossfire support (1x16, 1x4) which boards in this class usually lack. It also has DDR3 support. But it looks like the BIOS is still very raw when it comes to memory timings, so it's still not quite as good as other overclocking boards.

If ASRock releases something similar at this price point without any BIOS limitations, and maybe slightly better cooling, it would be an awesome board.
