Good point on the shipping, odd that they originally didn't charge shipping on the 27" but did on the 25". In any event, shipping for me (to CT) was pretty reasonable-$10.85. So for roughly $60 (plus sales tax here) for a 27" monitor is pretty cheap. Looking forward to it-my current monitor is much smaller and probably old enough to vote. It still works fine but my eyes need a bigger monitor these days.

When I posted they were both free ship but that 'deal' only had about three hours left when I posted. The 27" went OOS within 30 minutes, though. I see other similar 27" monitors are now regularly in the $90 ~ $100 spot, so it's a legit $30 savings. I don't even need a monitor but couldn't resist it.

Got mine today. Seems (to my inexperienced eyes) to be pretty nice. I may have a problem with the rebate, though-Newegg slapped the shipping label right over Asrock's label obscuring much of the serial number bar code. I'm supposed to submit the ASRock barcode label as part of the rebate process. Any thoughts as to whether I should risk the rebate or if I should return this one. EDIT: Solved the overlapping label problem with a suggestion from Newegg. Heat the shipping label with a hair dryer and carefully peel it off.

BTW the 27" model is currently listed at 109.99 plus $5.99 shipping.
