I need a replacement PSU for my QPack but I'm not sure what will fit with my NEC 3540A. Does anyone have any experience with PSUs for this unit? I don't want to RMA it because who knows when I'll finally get a good one.

I had an Antec 550w True Power II in there with the 3540a, the molex was a tight fit but it did fit....
 
I have an x -q-pack with a nec in it.
I need to replace my psu too. Any standard psu being 5.5 deep will fit. I fit a skyhawk in it but it suxed so
i took it out. They are all gonna be tight and you more than likly wont be able to use your bottom 5 1/2 bay
becuase of where the wires come out on the powersupplies hope i helped.
 
Well, it's not exactly dead. I have basically the same problem that everyone else does. Whenever something moves (slight vibrations or just a bump) the power supply shuts itself off. I was able to get around it by holding the cable firmly into the PSU but that's not exactly a reasonable solution in my mind. I've heard enough people complain about a similar problem that I decided it wasn't worth my time to RMA. I bought the case for the case, not the PSU so I don't consider it a huge loss. As long as the TPII I just ordered fit's then as far as I'm concerned, all is right with the world. 🙂
