aspire x-plorer or antec 900?

i recently bought an aspire x-plorer but have found out about the intake problems and i am heavily thinking of getting the antec 900, it looks good and has great cooling. But one thing ive noticed in all the photos of the case is that there is the wire mesh all the way up the front of the case, do you just take some of it out where you are going to put an optical drive in or what? and should i get the antect 900 or just stick with the aspire x-plorer? i am not thinking of getting the antec 900 just because of the intake problems of the aspire x-plorer, i also like the looks more.

there are two easily removable mesh grills on the top for two optical drives. you can remove the other fan/hard drive cages and install more optical drives if you want.

is there enough room inside this case for a big typhoon and how long do the mb power cables need to be to reach the connections(i have an antec neoHE 500W and an asus P5W DH Deluxe)

How about the Aerocool Zero Degree or Masstige (Bay Dream)?

nah i dont really like the looks of that one, i will be happy with the antect 900 if i new the answers to the 2 above questions (will the big typhoon fit and how long do the mb power cables need to be as the psu is mounted at the bottom).
