Aspire X-Plorer case

I will not tell you to get a different case..because that is not what you are asking!

I will tell you that I have an Aspire XDreamer case and the inside looks almost exactly the same!!

The fans that come with the case are ok...unless your brother cares about noise...

Those fans are not really all that noisy but compared to what I am currently using those fans are noisy!!

Good solid case...I have had NO trouble with my case or with any of the side panel screws.

No PSU--thats a good thing becuase Aspire uses the OKIA generic brand of PSU`s!!
Even though I had never had any trouble with the OKIA brand....
I did recently upgrade my PSU due to issues with not enough amps to power what I was running!!

What I know know about cases on a 1-10 scale I would give it a 6.5!!

Hope that helps!!

a side note to those who come after me....

You can say what you want about the Aspire cases...but the company has been around for a while and they have fantastic customer service!!

Sure its not an P180...but hey....nice case...solid consreuction..set up well for good airflow....thats all that counts!!🙂

I also just got a x-dreamer case (thanks for your comments Yoda).

I would just warn you... Aspire... the metal they use. Very very flimsy. Do not use pressure or your case will be bent all over. Otherwise, its very good. Fans are freakin' loud though.

my X Dreamer I have been very careful with since day one....

I have never put undue stress or any adverse amount of weight or torque on my case.

But you did make a good solid point!!

Also my friend..replace those fans......

I am currently using 2 coolermaster 120mm fans......
just a quick note....
I replaced the 2 bottom lower intake fans with 1-120mm coolermaster fan...I used zip ties to hold it into place....and yes I get plenty of air flow!!

Also I am using Zalman fans in my side and upper top blow holes....much much quieter.

but I would guess that Coolermaster 80 mm fans would be much cheaper and just as quiet!!

hehehee...another X Dreamer fan...made my day!!🙂

yeah my 120mm coolermaster fans are led Blue.....

I just got in a 80mm coolermaster fan...in led Blue...

oh,,btw....I did away with the top 80mm fan.....it was making no difference good or bad so I took it out.....and plugged the hole( I put a book ontop of the hole..lol)...my temps are the same!!

I have the Xnavigator but my boss bought this one. He is pretty happy with his but after seeing the X-navigator he said will will get that on his next build. (All aluminum, a little larger, all rounded edges etc).

Depends on how much money you want to spend. But I did buy mine because my boss said he liked his.
