I was looking at getting a new case, the one I have right now is really noisy. Is this a good case? Is it quiet? I like the looks of it, and it's in my budget (it's $80, looking at $70-100).

Are there any other cases at this price point I should look at? Biggest concern is noise level, second is looks. Also need cooling for overclocking, of course.

Thanks

Alright I've owned this case for about 2 months now and I'll say that first if you wanna overclock this case is pretty good for it, the case is well ventilated and has room for 3(or 4) 80mm fans and 1 120mm fan, case is definitely big and only cut myself once. My venice idles at 30C and loads up to about 43C after hours of heavy gaming with just stock cooling. Hiding cables is fairly easy behind the mobo or in the the extra drive spaces. Also it seems easy if you wanna do some case modding of your own. It is fairly quiet with a fan controller although I might not be the best judge of this because I modded the case for another 80mm fan to blow on my vid card while still being mounted on the clear acrylic. The temp gauge, decibel meter and fan speed meters on the front work pretty darn good, especially the temp probe if you place the diode correctly(mine is attached to the base of the CPU heatsink)

It's definitely a good case, fairly well built, and it lights up nice at night. Also try and find the version WITHOUT the PSU....it runs about 15-20 bucks cheaper. I got mine at the Egg for 63 bucks. I think they are about 65 bucks now tho. Any extra questions just PM me or respond in here

I've got one of those :D I can't get the fan controller to work - - No idea where the wire is for it. All i've got are the two case fans hooked up to the PSU.

Personally, I really like Aspire's latest round of cases.

The X-Dreamer I & II series were/are very popular, and excellent budget priced cases IMO.

Now they have the Xplorer, X-Cruiser, and X-Navigator. The Xplorer model is just a cheaper/smaller version of the Navigator.

The X-Cruiser is very nice, well ventilated, but comes with a cheap PSU. I wouldn't expect to actually use that PSU, instead buying another one to replace it. I do not like the fact that even though it's set up for a 120mm fan in the back, it only comes with a 80mm fan there. Of course you can always move the 80mm fan, and buy a 120mm fan for the rear. I alos would like to see a 120mm fan placement in the front vice 2 80's, but still over all a very nice case that is decently priced.
