fortron 450w for $50 if you're on a budget. tagan 480w u22 for $90 would power that system with no problems at all.

I'd recommend against it.

See my thread Here for the reasons why.

Cliffs:

- Replaced a 460W Enermax with that Tagan.
- 12v rail was running 11.6 down to 11.3 or lower under load.
- System was flipping a sh*t with stability.
- RMA'd the Tagan, put the Enermax back in, all was well.

newegg customers tend to put down reviews as soon as they get it just to rave about the shipping. it's only until a few months later when it fails and they cannot make comments. you shouldnt be buying expensive items based off of customer reviews, but leaning more to testings from well known sites such as anandtech, tomshardware, etc.

I have an Aspire 550W PSU (might be the 520w), anywho, it's been extremely stable for me. No problem at all. My Antec on the other hand... well it blew once the warranty expired.

Actually, Aspire makes fairly decent PSU's. Definitley not great, but there are many worse brands out there.
The 550W that comes with their X-Navigator cases has received positive reviews when sites review the case.
It seems their low end models are pretty much crap, but that's why their so inexpensive. Their upper-end models seem to be much more reliable.

edit: i was right.

yo op get the 3700+ cheaper not worth it unless they are the same price.
seasonic s12 is a very good psu check out toms hardware guide stress test plus its quiet.

ok i quoted you because you randomly stated the s12 without knowing the system, now you are quoting my statement about your quick suggestions, saying something about his sytem using more than 300w? you're very confusing.
