No matter what software I use, I cannot burn from an image file - I can burn cd-->cd without a problem. I have installed the newest ASPI update from Adaptec 4.71.2 and everything checks out with aspichk.exe - I have also download the wnaspi32.dll from Nero's website and replace the one in my system32 folder - still no go. It will burn, but it burns at like .0005x speed - super super slow. This is an XP operating system that "all of the sudden" stopped burning from images. I did notice at some point that aspichk did not detect any aspi drivers at all, so thats when I downloaded and reinstalled everything. Sumthin just aint right, and if you help me figure this out, I'll take you out to lunch and nearest Cyber Cafe :)

I also dual boot with Windows 2000 - this CDR burn fine from image in Windows 2000 so I know it's not the burner :)
