ASPI Problem with Power DVD

Hi,

I am having a DVD issue with an Acer 16x/40x DVD ROM, and Power DVD... when you insert the DVD, power DVD tries to play it but comes up with a problem:
ASPI for Windows not available
32bit CDROM only supported
Please make sure a 32 bit CDROM is installed

Apparently the DVD USED tp work alright, but things were changed a bit
Does anyone want to know what this problem is after, and the best way to solve it?

The OS is WIN98SE
