ASPI layer not installed in Win2k

When trying to use Fireburner or PowerDVD I get an error saying that ASPI isn't installed. How can I make sure it's installed? I tried to get the layer from Adaptec, but it says not to install that version on Windows 2000. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!
David

i can point you to the aspi layer for windows 2k a very good way to install it, i tried using an old ver of adaptec that loaded an aspi layer. I was messed up for a week.. almost formatted all my partitions, then i found a thing on microsofts website, on how to removee them. then i was pointed to a thingy to fix the aspi layer right so you can use adaptec, but install adaptec then the aspi i'm gonna point you to, do not reboot before installing this aspi, otherwise you'll be really messed up, and will need the recovery disks and a how to from microsofts webiste to fix, gimme a sec to get a link to the apsi layer for ya
