i am having trouble with my aspi drivers, well i thikn i am

i installed Feurio to test a CD-R's 'real' size in minutes, heard it does it well and it does

but in installing Feurio it checks your system and it found my aspi drivers were a bit off,

downloaded aspichk.exe and found i have different version aspi files

Winaspi32.dll 05/06/2
Winaspi.dll 12/22/97
Aspi32.dll 05/06/2
Wowpost.exe 12/22/97

this is after i ran an aspi manager,

now i am having trouble burning at all,
* i should of left it alone*

i just want to know what drivers (and versions) should i have for XP

thanx!

I have the following files (with dates and sizes):

Winaspi32.dll 9/10/99 44.0 KB
Winaspi.dll 9/10/99 5.46 KB
Aspi32.dll 9/10/99 24.6 KB
Wowpost.exe 9/10/99 4.56 KB

PM me with an e-mail address if you want me to send them to you. I also have the latest ASPI drivers straight from Adaptec (version 4.71) that I have not yet installed. I can send those along if you want also.

cool, 😎
send em over
Davidwardqb@idx.com.au

i have the 4.71 aspi's aswell,

i bet if you install them and run the aspichk.exe you will get a message saying they are not install properly.
be curious to see if my theory is correct.

my reasoning is it appears to just check for date discrepencies.

but send what you have thanx

much appreciated!!
😀
