ASPI drivers for CDRWIN on WinXP?

I used ASPI ME, from a friend, but still CDRWIN didn't find any supported devices on my system. Does anyone know where I can get some ASPI drivers that will work?

I tried this a while back and it worked, 3rd party burning programs worked, but built-in burning stopped working...why is that?

Go to the nero site and download wnaspi32.dll, place in cdrwin3 directory

media player's burner still works.

Alright, I'm not at home right now, so I'm just wondering if after I get my ASPI drivers working, will I need to reinstall CDRWIN for it to accept the changes?

you shouldn't have to!

ASPI not needed if using latest CDRWIN version 4.0a.
If using older CDRWIN version, ASPI is needed, but your newer burner may not be listed in the CDRWIN database.
