Hey all,
I've been fighting through tendonitis in my left hand for quite some time now. It seems to be on its way out (thank god!), but in the meantime my occupational duties do like to flare it up from time to time.
As doctor advised, I've been taking TONS of ibuprofen for awhile now, but the doctor also told me that I shouldn't take that dosage for more than a couple weeks at a time (all the side effects, etc).
So, I was using Icy Hot for quite awhile as a replacement, but someone recommended Aspercreme. They say aspercreme actually has a topical anti-inflammatory in it (which would be ideal), whereas Icy Hot just makes it temporarily "feel" better by using menthol.
So that's basically my question: is Aspercreme and anti-inflammatory, where Icy Hot is not?
