Aspect Ratio on Radeon 9600

I have emachine M6809 but playing starcraft and such looks stretched, anyone know how to fix this? Make the image square, give me black bars on sides?

radeon 9600? pretty self-evident

- if you go to advanced properties, and find the place where you can switch between TV, LCD etc - under LCD you can check/uncheck an option called "stretch to screen".
