oh yeah I tried that more than a year ago, it would guess everyone in pop culture, but it fell short when it had to guess the most famous swiss general (well one of two), and it guessed the wrong serbian military leader from the last war, but of course it had no way to know which one it was.

It's actually pretty weak, it just eventually brute forces its way to correct answers on popular picks that its seen thousands of times. Whatever algorithm is controlling which questions to ask next based on previous responses needs a shitload of work.
