I used to have a Compaq as my main rig (still have it) and I needed more memory for it. It was Frustrating and that caused me to sign up here to get advice.

I was a n00b, well more n00b than now anyway. The bitch was it didn't even have an AGP slot and I $ucked at teh research, making me even more Frustrated.
