I saw another asian kid with a shaven face, except for a long bundle of hair growing out of a mole on his face.... <puke icon>

I think it has something to do with superstition ... it's supposedly good luck or what not. More seen in the older generations than the younger.

They say if a hair grows out of a mole, it is non-cancerous.

Also, they say if you have hair growing out of a mole, you will get a lot of action.

Saw it once one my Taiwanese friend's uncle. Must have been 4 inches long, right out of the side of his cheek. I so wanted to just reach over and yank it out. One word.... naaaaaasty.

I think it is genetics, some people have it just like some white people have different colored hair and eyes. I would cut it and have the mole removed personally.
