So I was on vacation with some friends and we decided to rent a car and get around the island a bit one day. There were only manual cars available and I knew how to drive, so I did all the driving, but some of them wanted to learn, so I decided to teach them all quickly. I showed them the basics and let them each drive around 10 mins or so and even got them to do one hard thing (accelerate quickly to 5th, break a bit hard before a corner, then downshift to second during the turn, which I think is hard enough if you've only driven a manual 10 mins).
Anyway, there were three asian girls and 4 guys (from various backgrounds) and the girls all did far better than any of the guys, sometimes embarrassingly so. One girl didn't stall a single time, while one of the guys barely got going after like 20 stalls. :laugh:
Ok, so this isn't a scientific study, but at least I get to make fun of the 4 guys for a long time
