Consumer Reports challenges the belief that Japanese cars are generally made better than domestic vehicles in its annual reliability survey released Wednesday.

Of course if by low you mean:

Of the 31 cars that earned a top reliability rating, 29 were Japanese and two were domestic models.

article trashing reliability of japanese cars, while the chart displayed on the right of the article from consumer reports listing 'MOST RELIABLE 2006 MODELS' is almost completely japanese?

They might just be saying that they are declining, who knows.

In that list, how is "Pickup trucks" a vehicle model for Large SUVs though (in the top 2006 list on the right of the article).

And all of the least reliable vehicles they mentioned were Nissans built in the US. It's truly a sad day when only 29/31 reliable cars Japanese. That article makes NO sense.
