Asian Pears - do they taste like a little like alcohol?

I don't know but while I was eating this Asian Pear, it tasted somewhat like alcohol. It was very sweet and juicy though.

probably sitting around for too long...fermented...because I don't think they taste like alcohol.

Asian Pears are my favorite fruit, and I've never had one that tasted like alcohol.

Best Asian pears are the small little green types aka fragance pears, which are grown close to the deserts of Xinjiang I believe.

I just thought they were smaller, and a bit more yellow. But tasted the same.
